Yemisi Dorcas Yamah

Yemisi Dorcas Yamah is a researcher, community developer, and advocate for women in agriculture. She holds an NCE in Home Economics, a BSc Ed in Home Economics, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development alongside an MBA in Finance and Investment.

Her thesis, “Proclivity of Women in Agriculture Towards Utilizing the VAPP-SHEA Act,” underscores her commitment to addressing critical issues like Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, and Abuse (SHEA) within the agricultural sector.

With experience in community development projects and collaborations with NGOs, she has contributed to initiatives involving livestock farming, crop rearing, and rural empowerment. Skilled in data entry and analysis, Yemisi, brings a research-driven yet practical approach to solving challenges faced by women in agriculture.

Her work focuses on fostering sustainable development, promoting gender equity, and empowering rural communities through innovative and actionable strategies.
