About Us

We're growing fast
The National Women In Agriculture Association (NWIAA) was founded and established in February 2008 by Dr. Tammy Gray-Steele, our Executive Director/ International President, The organization is internationally headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK. USA.
NWIAA provides agriculture outreach, and education fuelled by sisterhood aimed at improving the agricultural productivity and sustainability of small-scale farmers in the World.
NWIAA believes rural women, especially minority women, have been neglected; the lack of resources, knowledge, information and technology has stagnated rural development worldwide. NWIAA is working assiduously to strengthen the capacity of rural farmers, local organizations, and institutions, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
NWIAA is the first minority woman-owned and operated organization that provides innovative outreach education that attracts and sustains current and future generations with its innovative, spiritual, and USDA-certified education techniques.
The NWIAA Africa chapter called TIWAEA was initiated in August 2021. The TIWAEA vision is to establish Chapters in the 36 States of Nigeria including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), across Africa, pursuant to this, we have established 16 chapters in Nigeria’s States of Akwa Ibom, Abuja, Benue, Cross-River, Rivers, Plateau, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Imo, Enugu, Edo, Delta, Osun, Kebbi, Kenya, Ghana, Liberia, Uganda, and counting.
