Ime Enyiekere Umoren is a dedicated and accomplished individual, balancing her roles as a health professional, farmer, and leader with remarkable success. As a registered nurse and midwife, she brings a wealth of medical expertise, further reinforced by her academic achievements—a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical psychology, both from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

Her experience as a mental health expert includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, psycho-education, counseling, and psychological intervention, reflecting her deep commitment to improving the well-being of others. Alongside her healthcare career, Ime is a passionate and innovative farmer. She not only practices farming with improved seeds, organic and inorganic manure, but also trains other farmers, helping them adopt new techniques for increased productivity across a variety of crops, including tubers, vegetables, and spices.
