Soprinye Chatta

Soprinye Chatta is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture based in Nigeria. She currently serves as the Kaduna Chapter leader of the Tammy International Women in Agriculture Empowerment Association (TIWAEA), an organization that supports over 8,000 women farmers across Nigeria, with a focus on expanding its outreach.

Soprinye is actively involved in various projects aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices, capacity building, and agricultural innovations for schools and rural women. Her work includes developing partnerships, writing proposals for hydroponic farming initiatives, and leading school outreach programs to encourage agricultural education. Additionally, she plays a crucial role in empowering women and youth by facilitating access to viable seeds and resources to enhance their productivity. Her deep passion for her work is evident in her tireless efforts to uplift women and drive positive change through agriculture.
